This kit is purpose-built to support a Honda K-series engine swap into 2007–2013 MINI Cooper vehicles. Every component has been fully redesigned and upgraded to CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, delivering the strength, precision, and durability required for high-performance applications.
Paired with 88A polyurethane bushings, this kit provides a firm, controlled drivetrain connection that significantly reduces engine and transmission movement under load. The result is improved throttle response, better power delivery, and increased confidence during aggressive driving—without the harshness of solid mounts.
The switch from steel to billet 6061-T6 aluminum offers several advantages:

Your factory electric Powering steering will be operational, Heat, ABS system, Speedometer, Fuel gauge as well as the Keyless Push to Start. Tachometer will not be accurate as the Signal is different. This can be substituted with an aftermarket tachometer. (All this has only been tested on N14 models).
The best part of this kit is that you can use the entire factory radiator support (unlike Gen 1 Mini).
***This Kit will NOT include Axles from me they will be purchased directly from The Driveshaft Shop. Please review the youtube install video for part #** PLEASE NOTE: The cost of my kit is a separate charge from the axles and they are ONLY guaranteed to work using my swap kit.
When removing your old drivetrain be sure to keep the Mini Cooper Engine Control Module (ECU) and Engine wiring harness as this will be needed to get the electric power steering and push to start functions operational
*Note: These kits will be to utilize the K20 or K24 Engine & FWD K series Manual Transmission Only. I have not personally done an AWD conversion

What Ecu can I use with this kit?
The engine harness is based off a 02-04 Acura Rsx so the simplest ecu to use is a 02-04 Hondata Kpro V3, or V4. You can also use AEM V2 for a 02-04 Rsx. If you get a jumper harness you may run AEM infinity or Fueltech ecu as well. Options are endless.
What Engine can I use with the kit?
K20a, K20a2, K20a3, K20z1, K20z3, K24a1, K24a2, K24a4, K24a8
What Transmission do I use?
There are many options when it comes to transmissions, all depends on your goals:
02-04 Honda Civic Si Ep3 (5 speed non LSD)
02-04 Acura Rsx Base model (5 speed non LSD)
02-04 Acura Rsx Type S (6 speed non LSD 4.3 Final Drive)
05-06 Acura Rsx Type S (6 speed Non LSD 4.7 Final Drive)
06-11 Honda Civic Si (6 Speed LSD 4.7 Final Drive)

What shifter cables and Shifter box do I use?
Shifter box and cables must match transmission. If you are using Rsx or Ep3 Transmission you will use a Rsx style (A2) shifter box & cables. If you are using a 06-11 Civic Si transmission you will use the shifter cables and shifter box for the (Z3) as they work backwards from the Rsx.

NVH Disclaimer-
This mount kit is designed for performance-oriented applications and utilizes 88A polyurethane bushings. As with any performance mount, some increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compared to factory rubber mounts may be present.
In most cases, NVH remains reasonable for street-driven vehicles and is primarily noticeable at idle or low engine speeds. Vibration levels can vary depending on factors such as engine condition, tuning, exhaust configuration, and overall vehicle setup.
These mounts are engineered to provide a balanced combination of drivetrain control, durability, and drivability, making them suitable for both street and track use.
